First Grade Sea Otter News
This week we began learning about Polar habitats and started prewriting on an opinion piece about the best Polar habitat- Arctic or Antarctica. In Math we continued to learn about 2 dimensional shapes and defined and identified their sides and vertices.
Holy Week is a time of learning and reflection at St. John. Today we honored Jesus’ sacrifice on Good Friday through silent dismissal. Students made Holy Week books, studied each of Jesus’ last days on Earth, and prayed with the school community the Stations of the Cross.
Have a joyous Easter and a fabulous break, see you in April!
THANK YOU-Lenten Service Project: Thank you for your generous donations of supplies for the homeless care bags. We were able to assemble over 125 bags with our 8th grade buddies this week to be donated to Compass Housing Alliance. It was a joy to watch the students come together to give and bless others.
