Catholic Schools Week was a huge success! Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers this week. I am so blessed to be able to teach your wonderful children.

Happy Student Appreciation Day! In honor of all their hard work the students enjoyed a spaghetti lunch, performed a dance at the Homecoming game, and enjoyed Fun Friday at the end of the day.

Thank you Mrs. Feeman, Dr. Yanik, and Mr. and Mrs. Kindred for coming to our class to talk about their jobs on vocation day. The students had a lot of great questions answered.

Valentine’s Day: Valentine’s Day is coming up soon! We will be celebrating on Tuesday, February 13th.  Signing a name 20 plus times can be a big job for children. You may want to start early so that the activity is fun and not dreaded. I attached a class list for you to use of Miss Feeney’s and our class to the weekly homework packet. Having Valentines for Miss Feeney’s class is of course optional. I have encouraged your children not to bring candy on this day if possible, we will have snacks and treats at the party and we want to be mindful of allergies. Thank you!

Special Notes

– Star Sea Otter for the week of February 5th is Peter.

– Musical instrument project due Monday, February 5th. The first graders will bring their instruments and have a chance to share and perform during music class.

– 100th Day Project due Monday, February 12th

-Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, February 14th, Dress Uniform please

-SweatHeart Dance on Friday, February 9th at 6:30pm in Egan Hall
