First Grade Sea Otter News

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! This week students continued learning about the Stations of the Cross where they walk with Jesus each Friday. They studied landforms, maps, and globes; we will use these skills during Habitat identification. We had a wonderful time with our Grandparents and Special friends and cherished the time at our class mass on Wednesday with our 8th grade buddies. This week marks the completion of our 2nd Trimester. Look out for report cards/instructions next week Thursday the 21st.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to bake, set up, serve, and clean up at Grandparents and Special Friends day. It was a huge success and we couldn’t have enjoyed such a wonderful lunch and program without your help!

Report Cards: Report cards are coming home next Thursday March 21st. Please take a moment to review your child’s report card. Remember that these are goals for the end of year. If your child is progressing, it means they are on their way to meeting the standard or benchmark. If your child is meeting a standard you still want continue practicing that skill. Please sign and return the YELLOW copy of the report card.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks!
