First Grade Sea Otter News

We had an awesome week in science learning about Rain Forest Habitats. We wrapped up this focus by comparing Temperate and Rain forests with a Venn diagram, and completing a spider monkey art project! Next week we shift our Habitat focus to Deserts. We also began a math unit on measurement. We practiced using rulers and measurement vocabulary a lot this week!

Lent CRS Rice Bowl week 4:

This week we heard of a story of hope from Sierra Leone.   Below is the link to the story and a simple recipe from Sierra Leone that your family is encouraged to try- ground nut stew.
